So my bedroom is on the point of my property. Above my room is the old kitchen/restaurant that we used to use for my hotel which I have now closed. We have now built another kitchen on another part of the property and the restaurant is above that, and that is where all the signs on the property point people to go. Away from my room!
One of the reasons I closed the hotel was because of the lack of respect for privacy some of the guests had, walking right into my bedroom as if it was part of the "show". Because I live on the property, people thought I was available 24/7 and even at night, while I was here watching TV or working on my computer, people would come to my door, and sometimes, like mentioned above, just walk right in, even though I have "private" signs on BOTH sides of my door. One guest even sat down and started watching TV!!! THIS IS MY PRIVATE BEDROOM!!
So anyway, the hotel is now closed and it is much more quiet and serene here. Yesterday a woman arrived who had been here seven years ago to film a program about me and my property called "Quiet Places". She is very nice and came with a friend of hers. She asked if they could stay. I said sure.
After about an hour, she just comes walking right into my room to ask me something. I was very nice to her as I backed her out as I spoke to her. I hadn't cleaned my room yet (living with 3 macaws, 4 dogs and a cat, besides it being a totally open space with only half walls, it gets dirty REALLY FAST), and I was just annoyed that she would walk right in.
A little later I was talking to my friend Jerry who is here visiting and I went on and on about how people don't have respect for other's privacy, how I would NEVER EVER just walk into someone's bedroom like that, etc. etc. etc.  
So, guess what I attracted by putting my attention onto what I don't want?
About an hour later after my rampage about privacy, I had just gotten out of the shower, and I had the music blasting. My bedroom door is split, I can just close the top, or just close the bottom or both. I had closed the top half knowing that my friend might walk in again and that would slow her down and I had left the bottom open so the dogs could get in and out.
I am brushing out my hair and this lady I had never seen before in my life actually peeks her head under my door and starts to walk in!!!  Under the closed door with two privacy signs on either side!!! I must have looked horrified, well, because I was!! She said, "if this is not a good time..." I didn't even know what to say.. She goes on to explain that she is a friend of someone that I knew in the Bahamas when I was doing dolphin swims there that I haven't had contact with for years. She and her boyfriend were looking for a place to stay. I explained as nicely as I could, considering that I was in shock, that I do not have a hotel anymore and to please go to the tent camp next door and that if she wanted to talk to me, she could return tomorrow (today).
She and her boyfriend left and I just had to laugh because I knew that by my putting attention to what I didn't want, people not respecting my privacy, AND by going on and on about it, I MADE IT EVEN BIGGER!!! Oh, bless the Law of Attraction! It always keeps us in check!
Now I am going to not put my attention on LACK OF PRIVACY anymore. However, if it was one of the sexy jungle boys from around here, that would be a different story!!

Sierra, thanks for sharing this, it hit home for me as I go on and on about things I don't want sometimes too, and now I know I only attract more of it that way. I'm gonna stop doing that!
And about those jungle boys... care to share??

Oh, Sierra, thank you, thank you, thank you for this! I can really see how I do this in my life and how I attract things that I don't want along with things that I do want. This is a really great reminder how we can make things bigger that we don't want. I am glad you have a good sense of humor about it and can learn from the things you do. I am just glad you are willing to share it with us so that we can learn too.  again.

I keep thinking about that 'Soldier Boy' song that the teenagers love so much right now...'YOU, crank that Soldier Boy' ...is it 'crank' and what does THAT mean, should I ask??? oh for Pete's sake - too much RAP sound for me, but ya hear it everywhere these days. My sons laughed at me because at first I thought they were saying (singing)...'You make it all OK' - silly ME, but makes more sense than 'crank that soldier boy' ...
anyway I have a MUCH better idea... OK, so I say we all in unison sing to Sierra... ready???

Hi Carolan,
You are funny!
In all seriousness, what I love about most of the people around here is their simple outlook on life. They are just naturally happy and appreciative. Of course many watch TV and want a life in the United States with all the commotion, expensive cars, big houses, etc. I have been able to explain to them the incredible gift they have living in a place like this, where nature rules and life is easy and relaxed.
I have even been able to talk to some of them about the LOA and have gotten them to stop thinking about and complaining about what they don't want by showing them examples of how this shows up in their lives. Some understand, some think I am crazy (well, they all think I am crazy!) and some are still on the fence about it. What I do is live by example and show them how it works in their lives. Some get it, some don't and that's okay.
They are also naturally beautiful, there are some guys around here that could be on the cover of any magazine. What I love is that they don't even know it and they just act like themselves, never trying to put on a show or try to be something they are not. They are fun to be around and they taught me all the Spanish dirty words!  Sure, I'll share, the song did it for me!

So, I am interested in that drawing you posted. Did you draw that? It is interesting because just last night I was exploring the website of THE I AM DISCLOSURES and I was attracted to the photo that I have posted below. When I saw your drawing, it immediately reminded me of this one.

it is actually my personal sacred symbol .. that was drawn by an intuitive artist ... when I find his name i will pass it on
it has all 5 elements ... we call it 'in balance'

you're so right, though. I do like to vent at times about things to my roommate. I'll have to not go on a rampage about them.

after reading about some of your dolphin and whale experiences, and how beautiful it is there, I was thinking after my abundance in finances comes, I might have to visit that place and go on a dolphin tour.
But don't worry, I promise to knock and not barge in.
