The GIVING TREE . . . Who said MONEY doesn't grow on trees? and OTHER MYTHS . . . How TREES Opened my Heart to ABUNDANCE . .
My love for trees started when I was a little girl, living in Hawaii for the first 5 years of my life . . . I ran around the backyard and played under the Palm Trees.
When we moved back east, I would climb the BIG Magnolia tree in our front yard, and I would play 'house' under a beautiful Wisteria bush . . . all those beautiful purple flowers, cascading down like grape clusters . . . I would spread out my little blanket and take a picnic and have SO MUCH FUN!! I can STILL smell the beautiful fragrance . . . I was so AT PEACE there.
I've always loved and adored TREES . . . little did I know what a MAJOR role TREES would play in my life . . . I was sitting at the kitchen table, looking out our windows at our backyard FILLED WITH TREES, the other morning, and my husband and I were talking about Money, once again . . . lol (Money? I thought we were talking about Trees?! lol We are, we are!! lol . . . )
We went into our usual conversation, as though we were trying to convince ourselves that our theories were right . . . 'Money is the "easiest" thing to manifest' . . . 'It is insignificant, when you look at the BIG picture' . . . lol 'Well money is like trees, it is abundant, but not that valuable really' . . . (BIG LOUD SCREECHING NOISE!!!) WHOOOAAA!! WAIT A MINUTE . . . WHAT? DID I JUST SAY?! Omgoodness . . . What am I saying? Trees aren't valuable?! Uhhh, my whole soul came to a screeching HALT on THAT ONE!!
Of COURSE TREES ARE VALUABLE!! OMG OMG OMG!! They are the MOST wonderful beings!! They GIVE us SO MUCH!! I just started crying, realizing ALL they do for us!! I went into a Rampage of Appreciation that just went on and on and on . . . lol
They provide shade in the summer, wood to burn to keep us warm in the winter,
they provide fun places to play, climb, swing from, build tree houses in,
they provide FOOD !! ALL KINDS OF FOOD!! and FLOWERS!!
They provide shelter, we build OUR houses from wood from trees!!
And THINK of ALL the PAPERGOODS!! OMGoodness!! Paperplates, papertowels, papercups, TOILET paper EVEN!! THEN I realize . . .
BOOKS!!! OMG TREES GAVE US BOOKS!! and paper to write on . . .
my tears are JUST FLOWING like a river at this point, my husband hands me a tissue . . . and I stop crying for a second, and realize . . . TREES EVEN GIVE US . . . TISSUES!! And the tears started flowing AGAIN !!! lol
It started to sound like that wonderful old book, STILL loved and cherished even TODAY, . . . "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein . . . 'Once there was a tree...and she loved a little boy.' So begins a story of unforgettable perception, beautifully written and illustrated by the gifted and versatile Shel Silverstein. Every day the boy would come to the tree to eat her apples, swing from her branches, or slide down her trunk...and the tree was happy. But as the boy grew older he began to want more from the tree, and the tree gave and gave and gave.
THEN it dawned on me . . . OH . . . MY . . . GOODNESS . . .MONEY comes from TREES !! OMG, OMG, OMG !! Paper Money is MADE from TREES!! (and of course our coins are made from the precious metals of the earth!!) OMGoodness!! Who said that Money doesn't GROW on TREES?!! MONEY IS TREES!! Only in a different form!! OMGOODNESS OHMYGOODNESS!!
THEN IT REALLY DAWNED ON ME . . . If WE are EVERYTHING and everything is US . . . THEN WE ARE TREES . . . and WEAREMONEY !!
How in the world did we get so SEPARATE from OURSELVES !!! By devaluing money, we devalue OURSELVES!! Oh my Goodness!! I then realized, I had always kept money an arms length away . . . I could see that I had held my arm straight out, with my hand up, as though to stay STOP, I don't want money!! It's dirty, and only Good, Martyrs like me can resist it's 'evil' ways!! lol (Lovely choices I made under religious ideology!!)
How many times have we heard that Money is the ROOT of ALL EVIL!! Oh my God!! Did we REALLY HATE OURSELVES SO MUCH !!?!! I KNOW I DID!! And it is ONLY thru the healing power of the 'Divine Truth of Universal Love' (see links below) have I come to completely LOVE MYSELF again!! When you love yourself, ALL OF YOU, you love ALL OTHERS, and ALL Existence!! Even the Money side of YOU!! . . . ME !! I LOVE ME, I LOVE ME, I LOVE ME
AND
LOVE really IS THE ANSWER!!
So NOW that we love EVERY-PART of US . . . I guess we can ALLOW that Money part of us to FLOW TO US . . . with OPEN ARMS I WELCOME THAT PART OF ME !! WITH OPEN ARMS and an OPEN HEART . . . I ALLOW MY ABUNDANCE TO FLOW LIKE A RIVER back to me. . . I ACCEPT MY OCEAN OF ABUNDANCE . . . I AM ONE !!

Thank you for this....right now money needs to be a big focus for me and I'm realizing I'm not allowing the money I need into my life because of my unrealistic need to be humble when it comes to money. It's time to cleanse my thoughts of all those old cliches about money being bad.......in with the new.......I want money and I will have money in abundance!

And did you know?! That Trees have beings in them, that actually SING, like the whales and dolphins!! They are singing ALL THE TIME!! To bring love and peace to US and to the world!! THANK YOU TREES!! (Thank You, ME !! lol) I LOVE THIS UNIVERSE!! lol
So. . . goes to reason then, as we carry money (trees) around with us, we carry that love and peace and MUSIC they give to us to comfort and support us . . .to RAISE OUR VIBRATIONS . . .TO MAKE US HAPPIER!! AWESOME!!

Hey, London!! I TOO felt like that . . . we can be grateful to NOW know that LOVING OURSELVES is the first and most important step to REALLY CONNECTING with who we really are . . . Every, single part of us . . . even the Money part!! lol
I loved this epiphany!! Man, something just CLICKED when I GOT this!! And I really 'thought' I HAD gotten it, a long time ago . . . and counted all the blessings that came as wonderful, and they ARE . . .
What lead me to this eye opening realization, was that I had asked The Universe to remove anything that was holding back my wealth . . . (my husband had also surprised me that morning . . . we had watched What The Bleep days before, and he had put a LOVE label on our Water Jugs lol Too Cute of a surprise!!
But I had JUST drank some water from there, my LOVE water, and then, well you know the REST of the story from above!! lol I LOVE THIS UNIVERSE!! AWESOME !! AWESOME!!
Another sweet insight that came from this . . . my sister heard that part where I said I had realized I had been holding up my hand, and saying STOP to my money flowing to me . . . She said, "Now you can turn that hand OVER, put BOTH your hands out, and RECEIVE YOUR ABUNDANCE!!" AWESOME, AWESOME!! THANK YOU SIS!!

Lee Ann - such a powerful sharing, I really loved - I read it alound to myself and I'm resonating with your opening to abundance - thank you thank you.
This morning out on a walk I stopped and looked up - big trees all around me, one filled with violet flowers, full of them. Another with purple flowers, cascading like grapes as you described it. And another with yellow flowers, and yet another with gorgeous orange flowers - and all this in ONE sight - all close by each other.
I love trees - I wake up in the morning and see the leaves dancing in the breeze and I tell them "Hey I'm joining in the dance tooo"!
And I love hugging trees - so much love washes through me.

second thought here...maybe to ponder on...as all THE TREES are the LUNGS of the PLANET....
as we all know....they give out WHAT we breathe in....
and what we give out....they breathe in....they then, of course "cleanse" this toxic "gift"....and then send IT out for another "go-round"....without fanfare!
a kind of easy balanced give and take....much power and LOVE in that exchange....eh?
this powerful exchange was built into the system in which the earth functions....and this does continue, whether we recognise this or not.
we use money as OUR exchange....a system that has its own aspect of "power"...but limited in a way....as it only effects the human-beans....
but....THE TREES use this other "exchange system"....as a kind of powerful demonstration of "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE"....in their own system of "breathing" and cleansing all the earth's "air"....not only for US, the human-beans and other air-breathing-beings.....but for the entire planet.
"WHAT YOU GIVE OUT IS WHAT YOU GET BACK"....a simple concept...eh?
a grand lesson of "to serve"....in my opinion....in which ALL benefit!
so to bring this idea....back into A FULL CIRCLE and tie it BACK to the begining...with the fine idea of..."WE are MONEY"...etc....
i pose this idea...but, in that vein...
that....WE ARE ALL powerful aspects of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE...
as well as "WE are MONEY"....all through our connection with THE TREES that are in our yards, towns and world!
a grand design "in play" all around us......
if one wishes to ponder this idea....as one step past the "green-$-backs".....
As we learn to love 'every part of us' . . . EVEN the 'money' part, we are Re-Connected to ourselves . . . "ALL THINGS" are ONE . . .
We love EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, as ourselves . . . We give up the notion of 'judging ourselves or others or things . . . for as we 'judge' anything or anyone . . . we are judging OURSELVES . . .
As we look at the world around us with "THE EYES OF LOVE", we can ONLY see BEAUTY!! THERE IS ONLY GOOD!! And that means WE ARE GOOD . . . and every . . . single . . . part of us IS GOOD !! Just look at it as, "Another little Part of You to Love".
This epiphany as related in Posts 1 and 4 in this thread, along with the Love threads (links in Post 1) helped me release all negativity I had been taught and accepted about Money . . .
This insight SET ME FREE and gave me such JOY to embrace that one part of me I had so believed was wrong or evil . . . I LOVE ENLIGHTENMENT . . .
I can NOW InJOY ALL aspects of life here on Planet Earth . . . including this FUN little game we have created . . . called The Money Trip!! lol
