Do you remember a few years back when there were experiments being done on how much people eat, and in one of them two groups of people were seated at tables with bowls of soup in front of them? Well, for those who don't remember, one group was, unbeknownst to them, eating from a bowl which had a tube connected to it under the table. Each time they took a spoonful of soup, a little more was funnelled into their bowl. They could keep eating and eating, but there was always more soup in their bowls.

Those with the finite amount of soup in their bowls finished, were satisfied, and left the table. Those whose bowls kept being refilled ended up eating twice as much soup, and then acknowledging that they were full, but there was more to come back to.

That is EXACTLY how I feel about money and abundance. My soup bowl is NEVER empty. There is always enough soup. No matter how much I eat, or gift away, or use in any way I want, the bowl is never empty. Never.

There is always enough. All we need to do is to know that, to bless our worthiess of the full bowl of plenty, to trust and to LOVE.

Never tell the Universe that you want plenty, but then turn down a gift. Each gift, whether it be a beautiful day, a monetary gift from a friend, or even someone you do not consider a friend, a gift of work which will result in abundance, a lesson learned easily or with difficulty from your own Inner being, or a check arriving in the mail unexpectadly.... Go on! Keep imagining! Always accept and say, Thank you! More please. And there will always be more. Always. Isn't that soothing to know?

Dear Vortex Goddess,

This is awesome!  I love the soup analogy.  Our bowls are always full!flower22

It is truly essential to have an attitude of abundance.  Think like Donald Trump, "Money is like Air".  We have billions of dollars to play with!  Someone named Jeff posted the following on the Abe Yahoo list and I just love it:

Money, like all other forms of well being, will come in through any vortex you allow it. Right now money is pounding on your door, your window, your ceiling trying to get in any way it can. Well being wants you and that includes money. Just get yourself to feel good and the money will come rolling in.

I love to feel prosperous and buy what I want and give what I want and never feel like I have to save for a rainy day.  There is only NOW, and in this moment, I am so very prosperous and abundant!

I'm so glad that it resonates for you too. For me, taking the idea of Money out of the picture helps. There is so much connected to the idea of "money" for so many of us, that the Soup Bowl really works for me. There is nothing but comfort and warmth and love attached to soup!

I'd love to try and experiment. Anyone who wants to can join me. For 1 week, let's agree to spend 15 minutes either in either meditation or deep appreciation for the full bowl of Soup. Then we can compare results in 7 days!

Love and Appreiciation FEEL good and NOTHING is more important than that I feel good. Oh, and that Diamond bracelet I bought today FEELS GOOD TOO!

OH YEAH, BABY, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!

I'm all for a 15 minute visualization of complete abundance and a full bowl of soup!

Two days ago I did something I have not done for years!  I printed, cut out and glued into my journal photos of the things I want to manifest.  It was sooooo fun, my journal looks soooo pretty now and I felt it to be a very powerful process for me.  I definately felt a shift in my allowing vibration on the stuff in my Vibrational Escrow!!

Abe says people ask for millions of dollars but when they ask them how they would spend it, they don't even know how they would spend it all.  I believe it is much more powerful to visualize the things we want, and yes cut out photos or create a vision board on your computer, but to know WHAT YOU WANT, then to just concentrate on money itself.  It's all good and whatever resonates for each individual person is what will work.  For me, I love to visualize, dream about and look at photos of the things I want to create!

YES! People often say that they want money, but money is the tool. If you do not know why you want the tool, then what would you do with it?

Abundance is banging at our doors and windows to be let it. LET IT IN! There is no piety in poverty or deprivation.

Oh, thank you Sierra, for starting this forum. For that I am most appreciative.

Beautiful Carol:  This hit me square in the head today!  Money IS just a tool to get  what we want!  That is why we want money so badly--to get what we want!

I know for me, having money is the avenue to all my adventures in life.  I want to be, do, and have everything I want in this life, and money will help me get there!  I visualize a road paved in gold brick and lined with money trees and fountains full of coins!  This road of riches leads me to the most wonderful places!

So here's to the never-ending soup bowl!! :13~~

Great thread.  This is a big topic with me lately.   I've always had a lot of contrast with money.  It cuases me major stress  which for me leads to depression.  Since finding Abe and his teachings I've been really really working of losing that contrast.  I realize that my whole life the money has come when I needed it.  I also have realized it's not money I want it's the things that I do with money that bring me joy.  I've been slowly letting go my stressful feelings about money and GUESS WHAT.  Money has been coming to me.

In the last 2 weeks I got a big bonus at work.  I got a 9% raise when I expected a 2%.  I won over $1000 in poker tournaments and I won a seat into a $500 entry poker tourney this Sunday Last week I posted on the Wouldn't it be Nice topic on the Abe Forum.  One thing I posted about was Wouldn't it be nice to have a freshly painted house and new carpet.  Yesterday some young men were passing out cards in the neighborhood for painting.  Come to find out they have just started their own company and offered us a great deal to paint our house.    They know that once they get one job here others will stop and hire them hence the good price to get their foot in the door.  It's half the price we expected to have to pay. Now I gotta work on getting that carpet.  rocket22

I'm with you on the meditation.  15 minutes a day.  You got it.  I'll report back.

Hugs.
