Hello - When I found EFT I thought I was in heaven.  Then I was introduced to ho'oponopono.  While the effects aren't always as obvious as the shifts with EFT I've had some really clear shifts in my world after chanting.

Then I started experimenting with combining the two processes.  What I do is sit quietly for a while asking what it is that I need to most address right now.  When something comes to mind I then tap the side of my hand and ask that whatever in me is causing this problem, whatever beliefs or memories, be cleared and cleaned.  Then I tap the seven main EFT points while chanting I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, I'm sorry.  I keep this up until it feels 'done' for the moment.  It just feels good.

I find it so easy to just chant the ho'oponopono phrases whenever I remember throughout the day.  And when I wake at night..... chant a short while and I'm asleep again!

Hi Retta!!

Isn't it great when you find a combination of different processes that works for you?  That is one of the things I really want to do with this forum, let people see what is out there and find the perfect combination that resonates for them!

I really like Ho'oponopono because like the teachings of Abraham, it is about taking full responsibility for your life, not blaming others, and having full control without depending on others!

I loved the book Zero Limits and even bought some of the cleaning products and a Zero Limits journal and pillow!  It's so easy, so simple and so effective!

Welcome to Atlantis!!

Hi,

I had an amazing experience with this just this morning. I wrote it up in the EFT section and thought I'd post it here too, and lo and behold, here is your post. I think I'll paste it in here anyway as an expansion on the idea.

Peace, Dan

These last few weeks have been filled with contrast and internal conflict as I have been consciously releasing my past self and stepping into my true Self. Lots of interesting (!) stuff is coming up for consideration.

This morning as I lay in bed, I felt my fears come a-visiting again, so I started addressing them directly with (one of my versions of) Ho'oponopono: "I love you. I forgive you. Please forgive me. Thank you for all you've done. I release you."

As I proceeded, I got the idea to include some EFT tapping. As I said each Ho'opo phrase, I tapped on a different point, just working my way through the phrases and tapping points until I felt the energy move. And move it did! I feel fresh and new this morning.

I hasten to add that I'm no expert in Ho'oponopono -- I haven't studied or practiced it in depth. I am impressed by the energy shifts I've experienced using what little I do know. There are some in this community who know a lot, and I hope they will comment on this.

Also, Abe has said that nothing is wrong and that no harm has been done, so there's no need of forgiveness at all. I agree, but there seems to be value in the process all the same. If I feel wronged or feel that I have done wrong, it is useful for me to intend forgiveness until I get to a place of knowing that all is well.
