These last few weeks have been filled with contrast and internal conflict as I have been consciously releasing my past self and stepping into my true Self. Lots of interesting (!) stuff is coming up for consideration.
This morning as I lay in bed, I felt my fears come a-visiting again, so I started addressing them directly with (one of my versions of) Ho'oponopono: "I love you. I forgive you. Please forgive me. Thank you for all you've done. I release you."
As I proceeded, I got the idea to include some EFT tapping. As I said each Ho'opo phrase, I tapped on a different point, just working my way through the phrases and tapping points until I felt the energy move. And move it did! I feel fresh and new this morning.
I hasten to add that I'm no expert in Ho'oponopono -- I haven't studied or practiced it in depth. I am impressed by the energy shifts I've experienced using what little I do know. There are some in this community who know a lot, and I hope they will comment on this.
Also, Abraham has said that nothing is wrong and that no harm has been done, so there's no need of forgiveness at all. I agree, but there seems to be value in the process all the same. If I feel wronged or feel that I have done wrong, it is useful for me to intend forgiveness until I get to a place of knowing that all is well.
