About three years ago my sister sent me the link to Gary Craig's site. I downloaded the free manual but didn't quite 'get it'. So I ordered some of his training DVD's. When I saw this technique in action I knew I had found something very special.
I started experimenting on myself and my family. Then I would ask strangers who I overheard with physical problems if I could try something with them. With every success I became more confident.
I started using EFT in my counseling sessions. Oh My Goodness. If I had known this technique 20 years ago when I first started in this field! But then again, I think that one reason I can do what I do with EFT is because of my 20 years of working with people.
One of the downfalls of EFT is how quickly it works. When I was trying to build a private practice doing EFT I would see someone for one or two session and then they were done. Good for them but bad for business
Because it is an odd looking practice it was hard for those success cases to convince their family and friends to come. After all, tapping couldn't have been what gave the relief.
I have had wonderful results conducting sessions over the phone too. I just can't say enough about how much I appreciate Gary Craig for sharing this technique. I get his newsletter that has stories from people around the world sharing what has worked for them.

Oh, I forgot to answer your question..........the first set is good in that you get a very very good understanding of the process. But the DVD of Gary helping a may with his fear of water is dreadfully slow. He was able to get much faster results so that one is a 'history' of the process rather than learning how to do it (I think). The one showing the tapping points and how to do set up phrases is a bit stilted but really teaches the process, including the gamut point which isn't used often anymore.
When you read the descriptions you can tell who the DVD's are geared toward.
Good luck.

These days I know there are no "accidents" - but I thought it was pretty strange when I came upon EFT about 5 years ago while researching phobias for creating more in-depth characters for the writing I was doing. Well, up popped Emotional Freedom Technique!
What I like MOST about Gary Craig and emofree.com is that the information (and 87 page manual) is FREE - anyone can learn to tap and he freely shares this with everyone. This is someone who really cares about helping others.
The second greatest thing about EFT is that you can use it any time - whenever anything comes up - for me, a lot of times, it is something that comes to mind first thing in the morning. I can tap on things in the privacy of my own home - I don't need to involve anyone else - and get GREAT results.
And the videos are great! I especially love the ones on the Vietnam Vets and the ones on people quitting smoking. Why use drugs - just tap!
for Gary Craig making this information available to us all!

Wow. Thanks for the info everyone. I've been reading about EFT online and wanted to learn more about it. I'm going to check it out now. I'm glad to have someone to answer my questions.
Hugs.

I had a HUGE understanding come this morning while doing EFT. I got the understanding that not only have I allowed my perception of what other people think about ME create my self-worth, I have been carrying those opinions with me every day in the form of this excess weight. The "A-ha!" moment is that it's NOT their opinion of me - it's MY PERCEPTION of their opinion of me. It's really an empowering realization. Quite a break-through. EFT - if you haven't tried it....

Yes yes yes........the other day when I was tapping on my vision I said something about wanting a change in my focus and then I GOT IT that I also needed to change my focus on my body and how I looked at myself. I had been only checking the parts I didn't like and (wouldn't you know it) they were still there!
Our focus/perception is huge in what we manifest. And EFT can help with the shift like no manner of logic and thinking and wanting can.
