Yesterday, David the JOYGOD sent me with a link to the sanskrit translation of SOHAM. We were interested because of a song we were listening to that we had gotten the day before.
Translation: Soham (pronounced "So'hum") literally means "I AM Him". Every soul has a presence of God in it. In other words, it means "God is within".
I then went on a further search to see what I could find on I AM and I AM THAT I AM: I am that I am (Hebrew: אהיה אשר אהיה, pronounced Ehyeh asher ehyeh) is one English translation of the response God used in the Bible when Moses asked for his name (Exodus 3:14). It is one of the most famous verses in the Torah. Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; "ehyeh" is the first person singular present/future form. Ehyeh asher ehyeh is generally interpreted to mean I am that I am (King James Bible and others), yet, as indicated, is most literally translated as "I-shall-be that I-shall-be."
I have been researching the power of saying I AM for a long time (just check out the address of this website!) To say I AM is to say I AM GOD, I AM THAT I AM. That's why I start most of my affirmations with I AM and ever since I learned about the power of I AM over 15 years ago, I am really careful what I say when I use the words I am!
As I was listening to the song that David and I were originally inquiring about, SOHAM by Kathy Zavada, which repeats the words SOHAM andI AM THAT I AM over and over, my friend Kevin sent me the link to the following movie. I go to the website and there it is again, I AM THAT I AM. I think this movie is going to be really life transforming for a lot of people and a great tool for further awakening the mass consciousness!
